What an install will contain
The launcher and the CLI
Two programs: the desktop launcher, and axiom for the command line.
One data directory, in your account
Mods, profiles, signing keys and logs, where your platform keeps app data. Set AXIOM_HOME to keep it somewhere else. Nothing is ever written into a game's own files, so removing Axiom is removing that directory.
No driver, no service, no kernel module
Axiom runs as your user, and only while you are using it.
Verify the download
Every build will be signed, and its hash published here, from the first release on.
Before you install
Axiom attaches only to game builds verified to run without anticheat protection, and refuses everything else, with no override. If the game you want to mod is a competitive online title, this is not the tool for it. Read the policy.
